I bought my Vette knowing it needed u-joints. How hard is this project going to be? I'm about to put the car in the shop tonight and start , any tips anyone????:thanks:

, any tips anyone????
A floor jack ,2 axle stands ,about 2 ft of 1/4 extensions ( to get at the inner uni straps ) and a vise that opens 4"

Only variation to that I would make to above is to undo the OUTER camber arm bolt ( where camber arm joins the spindle / upright) to drop the camber arm
Then you don't have to worry about marking the wheel alignment

Doing driveshaft uni's ?

That's the same instructions I used when I did the u-joints on my 94 several years back.

Thanks

I have the axle shafts out and new u-joints in. I will install them back into the vette tomm. Looking at the drive shaft it seems the exhaust is going to have to come down. Does it come out from the manifolds to the rear? I'm thinking about cutting the cat out of it while I'm already into this .... Any ideas anyone ?????

Also thank guys for the link it helped a ton :thumb
