I installed a set of Dynomax headers a while back and when I did, a certain person (who will remain anonymous) decided to "help" me and bolt the driver's side header to the exhaust pipe. When they did, they WAY overtightened the bolts, and warped the bolt flanges (not the pipe flanges, thankfully) and now they don't bolt together as well - and of course I have an exhaust leak as a result.

Other than replacing the header and the exhaust pipe.. does anyone have any suggestions as to how to "un-warp" these flanges? Possibly put some collars on the bolts and maybe use a c-clamp to warp them back into shape?

HEADERS

Heat it up with a torch, or propane bottle, red hot, then hit it back in place with a 5 pound hammer and straightedge.
Or do you have the loose flange, with the flared collecter

I have a flared collector with a loose bolt flange.. the loose bolt flange is what's warped.
