Thanks to C5tech on Corvetteforum for this info.

Here is the document I received...It is a service bulletin review, not published yet, with out a TSB# issued to it yet (meaning hot off the press )
Service bulletin review

Service catergorie-Driveline/Axle seals to correct fluid leaks (w/diff) 14-leaks

Subj:Release of new rear axle seals to correct fluid leaks

Models:1997-2004 Corvettes

This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers that new and improved rear seals have been released for service for the above listed vehicles

Use the new output shaft oil seal P/N 88996703 and the new differential side cover o-ring P/N 89047953 when correcting rear axle leaks

Hi there,
That has been out for some time.
Next bulletin will be a revised service procedure with Anerobic sealer, which should be out in Jan.
The seals noted there are made now out of Viton, however, did NOT totally eliminate the condition of leaks.
Now, from the factory, the 04s starting in mid Jan will have the revised procedure and the anerobic sealer.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb
