Hello,
This is my all first post on this Corvette Forum - I'm french, 42 and owner of a 2003 Z06 M.Yellow C5 bought in April 2009 in www.allvette.net, PA. (n°319 in sold cars)
The car is 100% stock, one owner exactly what I was looking for.
Here is my question, maybe applicable on all C5
The only modification I want to do on the car, is to change the US cluster instrument for an EU one with oil pressure and water temp in metric units
and speedo 0-300 Km/h.
I'm going to buy a brand new cluster (part number 10423489 Z06 export model with 0 mile on it) and would like to have following information:
Mileage is stored in the cluster's mother board AND in the BCM ?
Yes or NO ?
If I change my actual cluster with 6500 Miles on it by a brand new one with 0 mile > The BCM will "give" the actual stored mileage to the new cluster (6500 + 0= 6500)
YES / NO ?
If it's true I don't have to cross mother boards.
Thanks for your help and confirmation as well.
JM
