Help! Vacuum Line Placement

OK I got my Vette I always wanted and now I am restoring it. I have come across a problem, the vacuum line are busted or have been cut. I am replacing the lines but need help with their location, and so far all the books are no help. Does anyone have a diagram or picture, or know where I can get one?

I've got one on my web site for the earlier models but I have no idea if it is similiar to yours. As i recall, Doc Rebuild sells the diagrams.

The 82 was the first year for the Cross Fire, I don't think the Vacuum set-up will be the same.

No go on Doc Rebuild, he said he could not help. I guess I will have to get the Service Manual.

You need two books....an 82 Factory Service Manual and an 82 Assembly Manual. Both are available from vendors such as MidAmerica or Corvette Centeral.

I think all Doc Rebuild sells are the hoses or the vacuum harness.

The most recent issue of Corvette Enthusiast has a good article on Crossfire trouble shooting and vacuum line problems.
