This is on my 81...anyhow, on the drivers side located high and kind of in the right rear corner I have a 3-way (T) vacuum fitting. It looks like 2-inputs are 1/4" vacuum line and a >(very thin) 1/16" long black vacuum line that goes behind the distributor and enters the firewall at the passenger side.
Any idea what the "thin" vacuum line controls?:confused

I accidently (busted) the section of (T) off for the (thin input), and need to get a new one somewhere :confused :eyerole

That's the vacuum source for your heater controls.
To verify it, try the heater/vent control. It won't switch from defrost to vent to heat without vacuum.

Thanks, I had a funny suspicion thats what it controlled...I'll try it, and (try/look) to find another odd sized vacuum (T) tomorrow:eyerole

Most parts stores have a rack with things like that. A couple bucks will get you running again.:)

Found the 1/4-1/4-1/8 fitting, had to go to several auto parts houses. (thanks) for the feed back.
Now on to a new question, in a new thread.;)
