The headlight vacuum hoses are connected to a @4 inch tubular frame in the nose of the car. I cannot see where the lines go from there, if anywhere. Is the tubular frame piece simply a vacuum holding tank? I went through the assembly manual and found nothing, though I may have missed something in the 500 pages.

Yep, for the headlights, stores a little vacuum to close the light pods after the engine is turned off and not making vacuum anymore.

THANKS for the reply... KenSny! (my last attempt at poetry)

My New Patent Idea... Applying tomorrow

So perhaps GM should make the entire frame a vacuum tank. You could raise and lower the lights, fill your tires with air when needed, pump up my sons basketball, pool toys, etc. Heck, maybe it would run my air gun for a few quick BLASTS! :crazy

Ooops....

Before anyone calls the Texas Department of Child Protective Services that I plan on deflating my kids basketball... I meant to type "vacuum & compression tanks".

BTW - there is too much vacuum on this car, what 'new' products can replace some of the current lines? I haven't touched that aspect of the car yet (and I am no expert on this one).
