Valve Cover Breather filter

anyone running the open filter style one? i plan on picking up a mr. gasket one from my work. what size dia is the hole on our cover and is it on the passenger or drivers side? any info is helpful. thanks

Why? Is the PCV hose from the air cleaner to the pass. side valve cover or the one from the driver's side cover to the carb base missing? Need more info.

I just replaced the valve covers on my 74' Vette. I opted for the push-in style breathers. The diameter was 1 1/4" I think this is a standard size for most C3's. I removed all my EGR stuff, so I don't have any hose accessories to worry about plugging into the cover. Be careful depending on whether or not the hole is towards the front on the right bank. My A/C was in the way of the particular style of breather I bought. I had to pull back the A/C ( I planned on disconnecting it anyway) and I would have to replace the belt to make up for the added length.
