Valve cover emblem

Does anyone out there now where one can find the valve cover emblem for an 86 iron head? I tried the usual sources Ecklers, The Last Detail, etc., but all say discontinued. I tried a gm dealer but they told me it was part of the complete valve cover. My emblem is completely silver now. Thought seriously about trying to repaint it with model paint or similar. Any help would be great.

I saw it in a Mid America Mag. just the other day. It wasnot with the emblems, but where they were selling the stock paint. Good Luck.

Tried Mid America, part#600-566, said it was no longer available. The search continues.

When I found them last year, I bought 2ea. Now that they are not made......but I'm sure someone will make repo's soon....after all there's money in it.....

Thanks for help everyone, contacted everything corvette. They are out of stock now but expect reorder in 5 days. I preordered so with any luck I will have it in a week or so.
