Vehicle Lifts

Several months ago I saw an article in a magazine with someone who had several Corvettes in his garage on lifts. I did a search and found a few companies which offer these storage lifts. Are there any storage lifts to avoid or any that may be recommended?

There are probably 30 companies out there selling them, and 10 or 15 actually making them. Everyone has their own preferences - I have a Cytech Double-Park ( www.doublepark.net ) I bought four years ago, and I'm very pleased with it. Well-engineered, well-built, and nicely finished; it's been up and down probably 100 times since then, no problems. There's NOTHING like working on the bottom of your car while standing up!

That's one of the lasting joys of an epoxy-coated floor that makes the initial investment worthwhile - it's super-easy to keep clean, regardless of what you spill on it, and it's indestructible.

By the way, thanks for the photo of such a nice clean garage, you know what is on the top of the "Honey do list" now.... the least you could have done was toss a can of trash across the floor as a distraction.

Different Lifts

I have a superior right now but have owned several different brands. The only one i did not like was the one made in china, direct lift.
