Does anyone have a suggestion as to what book or books would be the most helpful in performing a frame-off restoration on a "71"?

The line assembly manual would probably be your best bet but I found a book at Walden Books authored by Lindsay Porter..can't remember the title, but it was one of the better C3 restoration books I have come across.

The book that 76L82 is referring to is "Chevrolet Corvette Restoration Guide" by Lindsay Porter. And yes, it is an excellent and in-depth book. I would definately get a copy if you are going to do a frame-off.
