Vette Vandalized

It's Alive!!!

Wohoo! I finally got time on Saturday to finish patching the fuel injector wiring harness. She runs great...again.

The new Phillips ultra blue headlights are a lot brighter than the stock ones. Why they call them "ultra Blue" I don't know, they're actually very bright white.

For those of you curious about Digital Video Recorder based surveillance systems go check out www.supercircuits.com. They're the folks I bought my setup from.

For game cameras check out Cabela's or Walmart for the film based ones. I got my digital ones from Shomer-tec.com but I think they stopped selling them. Shomer-tec has a lot of really neat stuff that I've used in the past for behavioral modification activites.:cool

Hey Wilezcyote,

I'm glad to hear your connections worked out great. I get a special pleasure helping out people that have been burnt by vandals. I hope you catch them some day.

Other people's children!!!! "It takes a whole village....", my rump!!! I swear, this is the kinda thing that's makes you livid and imagine all kinds of "not good" things. Look, be cool-headed, be careful, be safe. I was gonna suggest the vid-cam thing---that's a dang good idea. If you get 'em on tape, make sure you get copies to the media outlets and their parents. Glad the Vette repair is underway and didn't cost more than an arm, leg or a life. [That conjugal visitation thing>the Vette+you+prison=bad math ;) ]

I try to not think about it to much. It's just not worth the trouble...or criminal defense attorney fees.

That must have been the most tense 45 minutes of your life!]

Nope, when the port side inboard engine on the C-130 engine I was in Burst Into Flames and had to turn around to go back to Okinawa using the 2 starboard engines. That was the most tense 45 minutes of my life.

It was very tense until I got all of the idiots out of the truck. One was trying to hide in the back seat and not responding to verbal commands to exit the vehicle. I had to use small, easy to understand words and gestures before he clued in. I made them stand in front of their truck, fingers interlaced on top of their heads, while I maintained a covered position 25 feet away. After that it was kinda boring.

I've caught people poaching, poking, fishing, planting pot, smoking crack, skinny dipping and stealing on our farm before. One time I had to wait 2 hours for a deputy to show up and arrest a drunk parolee from Florida who had helped himself to some tools from our tractor shed. The deputy got lost on the way and one of my friend's had to go guide him.
