Hello All,
Just got my dream car 73 Vette, here's the problem at 50 mph I have a slight vibration in the steering wheel. The tires are new so I am assuming they are balanced. Any help would be great.
Thanks
crow

Don't assume - go to a tire shop and make sure they're properly balanced. Better yet, go to a shop that has a Hunter 9700 machine, which will also check them for out-of-round and lateral runout (which could be either tire or wheel-related). Use this link to find the shop closest to you that has a Hunter 9700 - nothing else like it!

Crow........ John is right. Had the same problem with my '95 Bonneville daily driver. Brand new Michelins and vibrating at 65-70. Balance was perfect but the tires themselves were out of round. Got'em shaved down and now smooth as silk. The Hunter machine is sweet. Don't panic..... it's an easy fix.

And Btw... welcome to the Corvette Action Center. You will enjoy it here.

Regards............. Nut

Thanks Guys, just checked the website John and there a shop 1 mile from the house. thanks for the welcome also
