Attack!!
How do you like all the compensation commentary that they have to give for the viper... "viceral experience, hard edged but rewarding, yada, yada..." I swear, if you still read that kind of business about the Vette, we would NEVER hear the end of it - "oh the Vette is so crude, cheap this, heat baking my a$$, unpredictable at the limits", on and on. But for the twice-as-expensive Viper, that's supposed to be o.k. Let's just stick the knife in them and be done with it, o.k.?!!! As I stated on the thread about how Chevy needs to market this car to the younger set - GET ON THE OFFENSIVE!!! Stop playing corporate nice-guy. In a very public way, smoke them at the Nordschleife, smoke them in the magazine tests, smoke them in the racing series. As our British mates would say, GET ON WITH IT! (Ollie, ya hearin' me?). The C6 smoked 'em all with an all-business interior, now the C7 brings all the rest to the game, and for an unbelievable price. The young set still like those rice-a-roni's? Fine, smoke them too, then tell them what kind of real-world price range this car goes for. They'll get it, but not until we get the word out!
I'm not a marketing major (way too politically incorrect) but GM really needs to get on the offensive with this great C7 Vette and the new Caddy CTS. That thing is awesome!
ONWARD - HOOOAH VETTE!!!!
