Last week, a couple mid-engine C8 Corvette test mules were spotted out in the wild up in Huron, Michigan. One of them was captured on video by a truck driver.

After reading the article and noticing the rear deck spoiler and the seemingly larger front end air intakes, my WAG is what's in that footage is a higher-performance version of the C8. Such a car would be faster, hence the bigger rear deck spoiler and more powerful, hence the larger air intakes for air flow into the engine and through the cooling radiators.
