Well... no driving the Vette until next week. D*mned thing started throwing "Charge System Faults" and the meter won't register about 12V. Ran the tests and the alternator is shot but I can't get a replacement until Monday. Figures, it's gonna be a beautiful weekend around these parts too.

Make sure you check the battery terminal- IT MAY FALL OFF IN YOUR HANDS!!!!


Seriously, there has been a QC problem documented by GM covering an issue with poor construction for the terminals. Yes, that means they FALL APART. Check yours so you don't blow a wad of money.

Thanks, but I put a new battery in this spring and the connectors are solid. Belt's tight and not slipping. Tester says that it's the alternator.

Just sucks with the nice weather... I'll survive though.
