The magazine article states that the conversion will start at $40K, and go from there. That's not counting the donor car. Pricey, but it is an awesome looking finished product.tigernut said:I didn't see the pricing either, although I'm afraid to ask.

At that price, don't you think you could get a local body shop to cut and graft on some Corvette Image body panels on the front and back, rework the doors, add some bumpers/chrome/trim pieces, and shoot a repaint, for a lot less? Maybe in the 20K range? Personally, I would bet a conversion to a mid-year body style would look even better, because the C5 windshield looks a lot closer to the mid-year windshield than the C1 windshield.
