Question? living here in Phx Az we all know how hot it gets here,My C 4 runs about 225 degrees in the summer with stop and go traffic ,Im second owner,engine has never been worked on ,just regular oil changes and coolant change, cooling fans work is this normal temp out here for this car. The newer engines, LTx and LSx, are designed to run hot. Your temps are normal. Temps of 180-190 were good for the older, first gen small blocks.
