Want to Trade: My motorcycles for your C5

The bike has a reverse gear??
How on earth do you drive it in reverse?

(That's a helluva lean angle in the Deals Gap photo).

What.... No Reverse On Yours?

Little training wheels come down, and you back up, it's simple, mine even has a backup alarm and an indicator when the pipes are about to lose some chrome from the lean angle.:( ;LOL

;LOL man how times have changed, I always relied on my toes to tell me when I was leaned over too far and muscle to "reverse" the bike.

Craig............

Seriously now, look at the picture in my signiture, those are hard saddle bags, not a place to hide training wheels;LOL and with the HD weighing in at around 800lbs. you tend to park it where you don't need to muscle it too much;) As for the scraping the chrome, I wear a half shell so I don't have any problem hearing the "alarm" go off telling me to bring it back up a tad.

800 lbs! :eek Whatcha got in those saddlebags? :L
Well, that explains it.
(No reverse on mine. It weighs in at 375 lbs with a full tank :D)

Elbow pucks.
When you hear the elbow pucks dragging the ground, that's when you know you're leaned over enough :L

Actually, the reverse comes in really handy should one find themselves parked on a sloping angle. The bike comes in at just about 875lbs. Not really a light weight. However, as you noticed in the picture at Deal's Gap, it really does get 'sporty' when you feel the urge. I stand only 5'8" and handle the bike just fine. Quarter mile times are right on par with the Z06.

The real comfort in all the weight is found in passing semi's on the interstate. The bike does not buffet to any great degree. None...nada...nope! I like the bike but I am thinking along the lines of keeping my LT4, trading these two bikes for a C5 and replacing the Triumph Sprint ST that was totaled by a friend of mine this past summer.

Come on guys/gals, any takers?
