Wanted: Black distributor shield for L-81

Hi I'm looking for the plastic distributor shield that the hood release cable attaches to, for a 1981 Vette.

Price?

Doug, yes eBay seems to have them most of the time however prices vary a lot on this part. When I was looking for mine on my '79 I paid $75 two years ago from a Corvette Salvage Yard. Too much I think for a piece of plastic that does nothing but just sit there. No working parts. Another Corvette buddy just paid $90 from the same salvage yard last month!

I think you can get this part in good condition on eBay around $30-35. I wish I had gone this route.

Just some info and experience talking.

The original type plastic clips that go on the top of the cover and hold down the hood release cable I believe you can get them from Keen Corvette Parts at www.keenparts.com

I just lost the bid for the cover $25.25 because of my inattention. There are two more on ebay though and I'll keep my eye on these guys for sure. Also thanks for keen parts site.
