Water problems Vortex ram air?

Another question before I install the Vortex ram air filter. After the Vortex ram air filter is installed. There will be a hole cut in the shroud in front of the radiator. The air filter will reside partially in the Vortex enclosure and partially exposed to the radiator compartment. The radiator compartment is exposed to water on rainy days.

Is there any danger of getting water sucked into the engine on a rainy day? Has anyone had any water related issues with the Vortex ram air filter?

hood seal

if the filter is oiled properly it would take alot of water to get through it. secondly, just buy a hood seal. Get weather stripping at Pep Boys, cut to fit, sticks very well.
