water spots inside trunk lid

i have 2004 zo6 torch red,the inside of the trunk lid is a matte black? i noticed i have some water spots ect on this black paint(the edges also),what can i use on this paint,almost doesnt look like it has any clear coat on it ? thanks oz

I would try wiping it down with white vinegar. The acidity should dissolve the calcium that remains when non-softened water is allowed to evaporate.
If the that doesn't work, use the rest of the vinegar to make a salad...:chuckle

By the way, vinegar is excellent for cleaning windshield glass too.
