Entered my 81 into a local car show this weekend, while there I had 4 vendors try thier products on my rear glass to remove the water spots, as a test.
Only one product made the cut, so to speak. Duragloss 755 Nu-Glass , from Car Quest got the water spots off. It takes a lot of elbow grease, but they do come off. Spent about 1.5 hours to get 1/2 way done at the show, will finish the remainder later this week.
As a self test, I brought Bon Ami to the show with me, it didn't cut the spots nearly as well as the Duragloss 755 Nu-Glass did.
If you use this product, remember that you must apply a small amount to an area-say 1/4 teaspoon and apply MUCH pressure to an area apporx. 6 inches X 6 inches and rub like hell. Once the cream is dry, turn over the cotton cloth and wipe clean. A follow up with Windex will remove any cream left behind. My window looks sparkling new.(half the window that is)....
I am not affiliated with any of the above mentioned companies or thier products, just found something that works and wanted to pass it along here.
By the way, lil red took first place in my division !!!
