I live in Hawaii and it gets real hot in down town Honolulu. I was thinking of adding the pink Water Wetter to my cooling system to reduce heat..... as advertised by 10 degrees.

I hear we have special cooling stuff in the system already, Can anyone tell me if it is ok to putt thi stuff in my 2000 vet

GET A REAL RADIATOR , FORGET WATER WETTER............it's glorified water pump lube

WCC has a nice aluminum radiator.

I have used this product in my 2001 roadster since it was delivered new. I have had no real data to compare my pre-additive temperatures to that of the new coolant mixture, until the car went in for the 2001 oil ring service bullitien. This service required change of the coolant in process of performing this task.

I live in the Atlanta Georgia area and our Summers are also quite hot and humid.

Honestly, since the change, my maximum temperature in congested traffic now climbs to as much as 230 degrees F. With the additive, I never saw more than 220 degrees F while stopped in traffic.

I plan to drain and re-install the coolant with the additive once the vehicle is returned from the dealership, which is performing other waranty work.
