I'm just curious if there is any kind of "special" wax for the bodies of corvettes? Do you need to use a fiberglass wax or will a regular wax do?
Thanks in advance.

Just remember, you are waxing paint, not fiberglass. The newer paints are good for about any wax, including the newer polymer waxes. With the older laquer paints, you should probably stick to carnubas. Just keep it waxed.

There's no special wax or polish that's made for the Corvette; it's a personal preference. I use Adam's car care products exclusively. :upthumbs

Use the search function and type in "wax". You will get about a million threads involving waxing your Corvette, with a million different opinions on what to use. You will start to see a common theme and several brand names.

You have to strip it every now and then and start over, otherwise the wax just builds up, and some waxes will even yellow with age. ;)

Actually most of us are just waxing wax as there are so many layers on the car by now :)
