Help! weather stripping tear for top on 2004

I have a tear in the driver side weather stripping where the top and side stripping meet on the left corner of the panel....there is water that is seeping under the plastic from that area and running into the carpet...i had the window tip done, so this has to be the problem for water coming in....my questions is if anyone has done any repair work on this or if i'm going to need new stripping for the entire pillar.....thanks for any suggestions.

I've never had much, luck trying to repair weather stripping. I'm guessing that it will require a new piece, but maybe someone else has had better experience than I.
