Hey, Wally! Welcome over!!

PJ67, nice to see you haven't forgotten about your car. With all your yardwork, I thought you might decide to drive a Bobcat instead. That being said, I could use one for my backyard. :D

Thanks. I actually have to cut the pasture with my Ford tractor as the horses don`t eat all of it. A smaller lawn tractor gets the rest of it. 5 acres. A Bobcat wouldn`t get the job done but would be great in the barn. "WHERE ARE ALL THE VETTES WITH TRUNKS" :upthumbs :grinshot :bar

Actually, for me, a Bobcat would be great for cleaning up afterwards rather than regular maintenance. I only have one acre but it's enough for me!!

I have about 40 stumps, some of them very, very large, which need to be pulled. I had a guy with a small excavator drop by and he said he could do it but it would be more economical to have someone with a large machine come in as the big stumps would take about an hour each to dig out whereas the monster excavator would pop them in three minutes. The aftermath of craters will need to be dealt with, hence the bobcat!!

Horses are great but hard on their pastures. Llamas are much easier and they tend to leave their manure in one area; easy clean-up.

Hey Mac, I try to spend at least a couple hours a week on the '67. Trouble is, I have too many irons in the fire. If you've never driven a Bobcat, they are a blast to operate....you feel like Superman, pull stumps with it, pick up and move 500 lb. stones, etc. I would love to own the one shown in the pic above, unfortunately they are about $30 grand.

I did get the hood on last weekend and this Saturday I am going to reinstall the windshield with a new weather seal. Trouble is, I don't have enough hours in the day to do everything I want, but in two years I plan to retire and then every day will be Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've done this before, Wally, but not for these guys. :D

Thanks 67HEAVEN, I didn`t realize you saved those pictures. At least I now know how to post them. The "IT" didn`t come up very well on my picture though. I`m glad you mentioned that item in your post. Stanford Chevy in Dearborn Mi. is having their Vette Fest on June 7th and The Barn Show is on June 8th. Stanfords is a very good show for Vettes and the Barn Show in Livonia Mi. is a very good all around show that I started several years ago. MHRA Club of Michigan is somewhat involved now. It`s like a Summer Autorama. Lots of Vettes there also. I`ll probably be at both if I can decide what piece to take. At least the little Black and a Camaro or two. You know, "The one with a trunk" With ice and beer in the spare tire well :grinshot :drink :m
