Well, finally made time to build the exhaust

This is not the first exhaust system I've built I've actually designed and market systems, for a couple other general motors cars.

So I don't need to mention you making a template before final welds!,

Sam, was is your idea leaving out the H or X balancepipe?
I hear with a balancepipe the engine is a little smoother I don't know what is to gain leaving it out?

If the X or H pipe is placed in the proper spot, it does promote a bit more torque. It also changes the sound coming out of the tips. I have plans to incorporate an "X" pipe into the system, but I'm going to drive it a bit without one. I want to compare the two different ways.
