I looked through the archives and found some good advice about this subject but I was hoping to get a little more detail. I am going to wet sand and polish the 61. Some people think I'm nuts and that it looks fine just the way it is but its not as there are a few dust nibs and some orange peel that need attention. Any suggestions for grit progression ie. 1500 2000 and type of polish and even type of polisher or any other suggestions would be appreciated. thanks guys.

I started out with 1000 grit and did the whole car, then repeated the process with 2000 grit. After that I switched to the 3M prodicts for polishing - 2 items, one was Perfect-It (I think). I am at the office so I can't remember the other one. One was for the final polish. I had lots of clear on it and eliminated almost all the orange peel. Lots of hours involved but, worth it.
