Obviously, it's a little difficult to decide which colors would look good on a C6 since we don't know exactly what the production model will look like, but given the spy photos, what colors would you like to see available for the C6 exterior?

What's that one special color that you always thought a Corvette would look good in, but has never been painted at the factory?

I really like candy apple red, They say the candy paint process is difficult on fiberglass but if they could perfect it I think it would be hot!

I think a chameleon paint job would be nice. This is the paint that changes color depending on what angle you look at the car from. I have seen it on a mustang that looked met. green coing at you, turned to a dark met brown as it went by, and then looked met blue from the rear going away. Under flourescent light it was awesome. They could even add some ghost graphics that you could order or possibly even computer design yourself for the factory to paint on the car.

I, too, like the candy, or near candy colors. for some reason, the '67 stands out in my mind as the best single year for colors in Vette history. The 50th Ann. has very nice depth to it, just a bit too dark (purplish) such that you can only see the candy gold base on a sunny day between 11:30 - 1:00.

But don't change Torch Red. It took almost 45-50 years for vette to come perfect that shade and no other car on the road matches this high performance red.

i'd like to see admiral blue come back...saw an admiral blue c4 on the road yesterday and it's really nice looking.

as long as black is always an option...i'll be happy.:beer

Colors of the Corvette that I've liked in the past were Magnetic Red, (of course:D ) Spiral Gray Metallic and Electron Blue. I wouldn't mind seeing a Rust Orange or Sunburst Orange (similar to the color being used on the 350Z's, Honda Elements, etc.). GM also used a similar color on the C4 named "Copper Metallic." Beautiful color with very low production numbers (something like 116). That wouldn't look bad either, IMO.

The color options have to include Black, Red and Y E L L O W!

I also like the Spiral Gray and the deep metallic Blue they've recently offered.

If it suits the car, a British Racing Green would be nice as well.

But mostly, they should make a nice, bright, grab your eyeballs and shake 'em like dice Y E L L O W! :D

I like Candy Apple Red, Sunburst Orange and the Rainbow Dupont multi-color finish.

I'd like to see a black rose or dark cherry. I saw a black rose on a chrysler cirrus one time and it really jumped out and grabbed my attention.:beer

I think chevy does a good job of a wide range of colors, but they should change them up some from year to year. I would like to see pearl white, pearl yellow, orange, graphite, and i always like to see a hot blue... anything from quasar blue to electron blue to admiral blue is fine.

Gold, Gold, Gold!!! It is what the 50th Anniversary should have been.!!

I have to agree.
1978 Silver Anniversary (25 years)
2003 Golden Anniversary (50 years)

Id still like something in the bright yellows to outrageous oranges of the late 60's early 70's.

Of course I'm biased ;) 2 vettes I've owned were yellow and the Monaco orange I have now...
...maybe something in between, sort of a yellowish orange. I saw an Audi TT recently that was sporting the color I'm thinking of. The shape of the vette really could make good use of the color.

Just having been to an antique car meet yesterday, I was struck by the beautiful color combinations and interesting shades there were, especially in the fifties and early sixties cars. Some of the interior colors so beautifully matched the exterior paint. It would be nice (even as an extra cost option) to return some interesting and more personalized combinations. I know I would pay for it. Noone had a problem paying for Mag red or Mil Yellow, so take it a few steps further.
