What does NASCAR have to do to get Dale Jr. into the Chase?

well this thread started with the notionof adjusting the qualifications to be in the chase.... First of the the concept of only the top 10 drivers being eligible to win the championship trophy is stupid to begin with.. Seems to me that method rewards those who have had good fortune all year and penalizes those that have had some bad luck.. But what happens then if somebody gets their poop in a group near the end of the season and dominates it.... the chase precludes them from taking the trophy home. STUPID...Dumb as it is there should be no changes in rules .... Everyone started the season knowing the rules and now they run by them... Next year there will be a new rule where only one driver from a team may qualify for the chase, since there will be a total domination of the toop five by the Hendricks team. Or they may put spending caps on teams like the way the NFL got messed up.

AS far as ignorant rules.. why not contemplate the riducluous idea of the "lucky dog"..... a redneck way to say you are not good enough to run all the laps so we let you run one less than everybody else you lucky dog...Talk about penalizing those that run the entire required laps Every person that "lucky dog" finishes ahead of is penalized in point and winnings by a car that didn't ever run the entire race.

and I am a Gordon fan, but I think Junior has the talent to win.. He only needs the hardware and leadership.

"I'm not sure he would fit in today," Kyle Petty said. Earnhardt "would speak his mind more than any driver out there today.

The sport has turned more from a sport to a marketing tool.

It's only a sport for four hours on Sunday;
the rest of the time it's a business. . . . TV is laying the groundwork for how the sport is run now."

in 10 years, we will KNOW 'who' killed the goose that laid the golden-egg:
his initials are 'B.F.'
