I have a new EDL AirGap Intake but it has the dull gray finish. Id like to shine it up alot. Do people use a wire brush wheel on a drill, or 0000 steel wool ? id rather not take the intake off of the motor. Please advise. And ...thanks, Dave.

You could use a wire wheel to get a bit of shine on your intake. If you want to get that polished look though, you will have to remove it from the motor. You would make such a mess with a hand held die-grinder if you left it on. Personally, try to find a cheap, old intake at the junkyard and practice your technique on a grinding wheel. Or just break open your wallet and have someone do it for you.--Bullitt
