Thanks John,JohnZ said:The control arm shaft is gloss black - it was painted as part of the control arm assembly (control arm, shaft, bushings and end bolts) at the supplier's plant. The spindle and spring are "natural" (no paint); only service replacement springs were painted.
I did my springs with Rustoleum Primer and the Rustoleum Gray/Silver - some kind of new "splotch" color which went on nice and even? so I don;'t know what they mean.pgtr said:Follow-on question - what would be a good paint color to paint it to approximate the natural color? I would prefer to paint mine so as to avoid rust. How about the cast gray paint?
thanks,
"Cast-Blast" does a good job on parts that are supposed to be "natural".pgtr said:Follow-on question - what would be a good paint color to paint it to approximate the natural color? I would prefer to paint mine so as to avoid rust. How about the cast gray paint?
