What is "correct" color of Control arm shaft, front spindle and springs?

The control arm shaft is gloss black - it was painted as part of the control arm assembly (control arm, shaft, bushings and end bolts) at the supplier's plant. The spindle and spring are "natural" (no paint); only service replacement springs were painted.

Thanks John,
Without you, the paint issue would have been a problem today,
Fred

Follow-on question - what would be a good paint color to paint it to approximate the natural color? I would prefer to paint mine so as to avoid rust. How about the cast gray paint?

thanks,

I did my springs with Rustoleum Primer and the Rustoleum Gray/Silver - some kind of new "splotch" color which went on nice and even? so I don;'t know what they mean.

"Cast-Blast" does a good job on parts that are supposed to be "natural".
