LT4 What kind of mileage are you getting with LT4 and Hotcam?

With a fairly spirited driving style, I regularly average 17-18 mpg (city/hwy combined) ...see sig below for mods.

Thanks Jeff. I think I must be close to that. I am sure I could still squeeze out high 20s with a 60 mph cruise but I don't usually drive that slowly. I find the Hotcam drives pretty close to the cam in my C5 Z06 except it doesn't smooth out until maybe 1800 rpm where the Z was cruisable at maybe 1400.

I think the 4.10's probably dropped my mpg by 2 or 3 across the board...but the fun to drive factor most likely played a part in that. Took the Vette to Vegas a couple of months ago and was averaging mid 20's.....until I got there. :L

My 'ex (and soon to be again) '92 with the LT4 conversion and Hot Cam averaged 24-25 on the highway and 15-18 in town. I think it could have done better but it was just too much fun to drive.

It's coming back in a couple of weeks.
The current owner is in North Carolina and he's driving it out to OK for me early next year.

I'm not sure what I'll do with 3 Vettes in the garage but I couldn't let the Tunasport slip away.

OK, for what it's worth.....all stock (exhaust, intake, LT4 engine/cam)....my '96 gets 28.3 on the interstate with careful driving. I never check it around town but I expect it's around 22 or so with moderate driving. I'm pretty easy on it.
