noticing the side of the car: the front louvers, as well as the rear ones! looks very tight. is this part of a bodykit?

the car is a callaway LM. They only made a handful of these cars, the body is made of carbon fiber. Very expensive. The back end and sides are like the regular aero kit from callaway though, if you want more info. check www.callawaycars.com

Actually, the car in question is a standard 1995 ZR-1 transformed into a Callaway Aerobody LM ZR-1. The body panels are carbon fiber and are race pieces, not intended for street use.
They're racing pieces, not designed for the street. They're meant to be used for a season and discarded... they're not as good for a street car.

Callaway Le Mans

That bodywork is the Callaway LeMans kit. Similar is some areas to a Callaway Aerobody (Door panel's and taillights) however, the nose is a full tilt end and the sides use different gills.
From what I know, less than a 1/2 dozen "kits" exist of which one is on that ZR1 (1 of a kind) another is on a Twin Turbo ZR1 Speedster (w/ removable roof - 1 of a kind) and a couple Supernaturals had em for street use as well...
A normal Callaway Aerobody is abot 8 grand - unpainted/uninstalled and I would imagine that the LeMans body is at least Triple that cost due to the use of LOT'S of Carbon Fiber panels ...

Hope this helps - *89x2*

I just quoted verbatim from the article for that car, published in the February issue of Vette magazine, from which the picture in the initial post originates. ;)

I don't mean to question your knowledge, I was just trying to answer his question.
