Todd,

That's a good point there. They're even putting those wheels on Cavaliers! Isn't anything Corvette exclusive anymore? :L:L
hey Edmond,
wow,i have not seen them on a cavalier yet,ive seen them on a couple s-10s and cameros etc,.i was talking to an ambulance driver at work, and we said maybe try to fit some on the ambulance, thats how ridiculous its getting.on the other hand,i guess alot of people like them.
i have seen CCWs,they look o.k. on certain combinations, like JBsC5 said the look is not for me.

Okay Todd, this will really make you :L but the ones I've seen on the Cavalier's are a factory option and some of them are even chromed from the factory!

I don't think they even offer that option to Corvette's do they?

damn,i had no idea.i was thinking that it would be tough to fit real zo6 rims on a cavalier, backspace, offset etc..are they the exact size as the Z?i dont know if the standard c5 has an option for that, after hearing about the cav,who knows.i doubt it though.
later,Todd.

Here's the link: http://www.chevrolet.com/cavalier/index.html

If you read the specs, they say "chromed."

They're not the same size as the Z06, but they look like exact replica's, only smaller! :L

I agree with tankman..

Go with magnesium.

I have the magnesium wheels on my pewter/black convertible and I LOVE them (actually, they were the deciding factor in purchasing the car)!!

Chrome wheels were offered as an option in ’98, so you’d be keeping things correct if you picked up a set of ’98 chromes. Slapping Y2K wheels on it makes it look like you’re pretending it’s a ’00. The '98 style wheels on your car look muscular!

i put the y2ks on mine because i like to paint my calipers, rotors and all my suspension parts are detailed and can be seen right threw the rim.but i will be getting 20 inch Evos next year.

The Chrome wagon wheels were offered as an option in 98??? Thats news to me... I thought the chrome wagon wheels were only an after market thing.. There is no option code for them in the black book:confused

Sorry. Not a GM option; a dealer option, at least offer by our local Chevrolet dealer...
