I have not owned a corvette since my 2002 zo6. I am now 77 & again am thinking of buying a c5
corvette.

I no longer have the money to play with that I once had so am thinking of buying a high mileage

c5.

I have found a 2001 c5 auto convertible on craigs list(100,000 miles) for $12k.....please advise on the
mileage the c5 will go with out a overhaul. I probably do not have the money to pay for a new motor.

thanks ...all replies will be greatly appreciated:)

Just a 100,000, Y it's just a pup!:L
Depending on how it's been taken care of,It could have another 100,000-300,000 plus left in it's life span!:thumb

I have 135,000 on my 03 and plan to get 500,000 out of it!~!!:D

I have a few customers with 250,000 plus on theirs and still busting bugs!:beer

Exactly what Junkie said.

Just make sure that all the maintenances have been done properly and on time paying particular attention to oil changes, coolant changes, transmission fluid changes, and differential fluid changes.

Enjoy the new to you C5. :)
