yes,as far as I know.C4s used to be cleard except the rubber bumpers but changed that in the later c4s and c5s

They do come with a clear coat, however I do not think it is acrylic. I believe it is enamel/urathane.

I spoke with 1 of the Dupont Reps in the Corvette Paint area today per your question. He said it was paint as a few other have already mentioned not acrylic clear coat.
