Does anyone know what headlamps were on a C2 when it left the factory? I'm specifically interested in 1965. I think it was the T3 bulbs but not sure. I'd like to go original but have no idea what was on the car back then.

Thanks,

Yup, T-3's are correct, with no vertical bars in the triangles (Lectric Limited #SB6067S, $119.00 for a set of four - two high beams, two low/high beams).

Thanks John. I thought so.. just wasn't sure. One more thing to put on my list.

Thanks,

Any GM product from 1960-1967 with the four headlamp system would have the correct bulbs. This includes cars, trucks, buses and other commercial equipment. Also, Intl Harvester and even Studebaker used Guide stuff in some of those years. Take a trip to your local junkyard (better yet, a truck junkyard) and have at it!

You may already know this but the T3's aren't very bright at all and I wouldn't recommend using them for regular driving. Keep a set of halogens in there for driving and then pop the T3's when it's time for NCRS judging.

SebringBill, thanks for the idea.. I'll give it a try.

Andy, I agree. I"ll just hang on to the lights that are in there now and swap out when needed.

Thanks,
