I encountered a problem with my seat back adjuster, it didn't work.
I was able to discover what appeared to be a part(s) missing. It appeared that there was a pin missing on which the lever would pivot.

I was able (now don't laugh) to fix the problem by inserting a chair leg protector through the hole. You know the cricular plastic thing you nail to the bottom of a chair leg. I suppose I could have used a nail as well. The lever operates at least temporarily.

Leading me to ask if any of you are familiar with what actually goes through the lever end of the cable in that hole where the lever pivots and are there any springs involved. Or would someone be kind enought to lift there seats and describe pin that goes through and other parts.

I have looked in the Vette Factory Manual and they don't break it down that far. Just Remove and Replace.

Tnx Again, Sam

Here is an '94-96 seat hardware diagram. Anything look familar???

actually no!

I have a Factory Service manual and it shows the cable. Your picture does not.
I am interested in a break down of the cable. In particular the lever end.
