Plum, white top with graphite interior. 37000 miles. Paint is in good condition the front nose there is a little scuff but other then that car is in good condition. Driver side seat on the bladder I guess it is getting worn from getting in and out. Automatic, shifts good, runs out really good. I am not sure about the options, but I know my 87 felt "tighter" then the 95. It does have the ASR stuff I dont know if that is factory equipment or not. Whats it worth?

ASR is the traction control system and was standard on the vette that year. Not sure what they are worth but I would guess upper teens. Haven't tried to sell my car yet. ;)

Probably somewhere between 17K and low 20's, depending on whether the car is in good or excellent condition. Most likely the 95 has a base suspension package, like mine, it's meant for comfort. Unless it has the FX3 package, which I'm not sure if that came with the verts. In any case, the earlier C4 Z51 package is much stiffer.

Justin,

Thinking about making the switch?:D

(Sorry if you're not Justin)

Nah. My dad was thinking about buying it. If he does I will certainly drive it for him :D . The suspension was way to soft for me. It handled good, but just wasn't the same as my 87. It did run fairly well it spun them in second hard enough for the ASR to kick in. I don't know if that is hard to do or not.

17.6K to 21.3K according to the PRIMEDIA Red Book. A loan officer I know says she thinks their prices are a bit inflated ... but thats their job.

The suspension on my car is way too soft as well, especially after coming out of the Z51 equipped FRC. The body has a fair amount of roll but I'm not sure if it's just time for new shocks or if the suspension is really supposed to be this soft.

The LT1 is a great engine and is a blast to drive. I typically drive with the ASR off on my car as I enjoy stepping the back end out once in a while. The traction system in the C5 is far less intrusive than the C4. It is fairly easy to get the system to engage as it doesn't really like any wheel spin. In contrast the C5 system will allow a fair amount of spin yet not let you get totally out of control.

Was the car an auto or stick? I love the lines of the C4 vert, but can't wait to get something a little new and better handling. :D
