Damn !! No one in SoFla would touch that price. They are very rare here still, while every dealer is sitting on Z06's.

You can buy from almost any dealer in the country and have it drop shipped close to you .Also you can buy it from any dealer in the country and take museum delivery.

The quote for my order came out to ~59300 INV ~60500 MSRP ~66700

10 GS Coupe, CRM, 3LT, MN6, PYE, Ebony, NPP, C2L, 0B1, US9, full width spoiler, and GS Indoor Car cover

I wont know for sure about rebates until i take delivery in July but so far I get 750 from GM/USAA so Im down to ~58650... But for now that is a 12.1% discount from MSRP and 650 below INV

Needless to say, Im sure Im getting a good deal and it can only get better if GM releases rebates within the next 60 days or so...

Im not only excited but happy as hell!!!!

thanks !!! Remember- when you do get a gs, go with a coupe (and you get all the good stuff) hand assembled ls3,dry sump, rear mounted battery and diff. Cooler.

I have been wondering something...have not found solid answer....if I get a 6-speed (man.) stick in the (convertible), will I get the performance stuff..i.e. handbuilt LS3, rear diff cooler etc....??? I know thats the norm with coupes....what bout converts???

All the packages and options are the same in reference to performance items.:DAnd I assume we're not talking Z06.;)

Yes sir...G.S......I've been told no, no h.b. LS3, no rear diff cooler/dry sump with convertible.....ONLY Coupes.....then I've been told opposite, yes to above....dealer does NOT know....(local Chevy Dealer doesn't even have a new Vette period). Everyone around where I live usually goes into city for items such as this....now a pickup truck....different story....they got 'em....I live in extreme North Texas (near O.K. border/Red River-due north of Dallas)....anyway....it's rare I see GS's around here....few Z06's and rest mainly base coupe/verts.... :confused Is that your plans....replace ur vert w/a GS vert???? I'm thinking either that -or- wait another year (save some more dough) and try for a Z06....owning a Vette has got me 1) power hungry 2) hooked on the "ability to go fast" 3) desire to get that pleasure driving such capable car 4) I sometimes wanna be naughty/bad attitude (in the sense of need for speed).....anyway, my next needs to improve performance wise over my Z51 vert....(I don't really want to part with my present vert....it's my first vette)....and since I've been wanting another (like my first car-Pontiac) like my first one, I better keep this first....(built me a new shop that will house six cars if I wanted)...anyway....yep, if I decided on GS, I would want another vert, but not if it didn't have the perform hardware/goodies as the coupe....

Keep in mind at my age I've been wrong several times .
My next Vett will be a GS crystal red , Vert ,6sp manual ,light int..I don't think I could bring myself to buy an auto coupe ,I'm just not that old :D I probibly will buy a 2011 but who knows .I've had some people look at my 08 and I'd hate to be Vett-less for very long.

I like that color choice....mine has Lt. Cashmere interior....I've always been partial to cashmere (saddle earlier models) in vettes (or red color too)....saddle color was in the first vette that I saw which caused me to want a vette of my own....red is a great interior color w/either red/black/white/blue/grey exterior colors....red interior evokes a very sporty sense....like it supposed to go 200mph!! :D may be my next someday....
