What's the fix for a rattling window?

I think it was posted here that there is a part # to replace the mechanism that holds the window. I have a rattle from my pass. side window and it is the only thing that rattles. Thanks for your help

My 96 rattles it like it's coming apart with the top out. There is a little bumper inside the door for that fix. Not too bad. Try search...

It could be the felt covered anti rattle bushings need to be adjusted outward. Lossen the inner door panel, pull the top portion away so you can look inside. There are two felt covered bushings that may have slipped out of place. Or as happens more often, the felt itself has pulled away from the bracket. A cheap fix if that's the problem.

woa their big guy.the window guides are a plastic piece with the furry side of the VELCO stuff.take the door panel off and get some VELCRO from wallyworld.then replace the piece.its a real pain to get it in their.its a 10mm on the backside (that you cant see).the point is-you can buy a new $15 part or parair the old one vut the challenge it it to instal it.

Mine are metal. I have spares but I guess the 88 is different. No intention to misinform here....

ps: re-velcroing works but it's a short term fix. The adhesive doesn't hold up under heat, cold, moisture and use......at least mine didn't. Hence the replacements...
