whats the height of your front and back weel wells

on your car. my rear well arch at the higest point is 271/4in . ia that about right???????????

I have a Coil over package as well and mine are roughly set @ 26.75 inches. I would have to go measure to be sure.

yeah they both could alter ride height , i am just trying to get an aprox height so i can get things close .the problem has been ever since i have had this car (475snat.zr1) the back of the car is the same height as my 2 90 zr1s and the front is lower by 2 in. dont most cars with coilover run alittle lower than a stk zr1 . i cant seem to get anyone to get me the info on the ride height that callaway set them to when they put coilovers on . called them and no one seems to know . does anyone know what the callaway height was set at ?????? and where does one measure from,the frame or the wheel wells ? it sure would be nice if someone could give me a clue where to start .

Measured them to make sure.

Front: 26.75
Rear: 27.00

I also measure my other Callaway with stock suspension it measures:

Front: 26.75
Rear: 27.50

With respect to ride height (or, more properly "trim height) of C4s, regardless of spring type, your starting point is the stock specification. From there, if you have coil overs or leafs, you can adjust the height until you get what you want.

Keep in mind that you cannot properly measure trim height between the tire and the wheel well lip because that does not take into account any differences in chassis or body mounting or body panel differences.

To properly measure the trim height, you should do it according to the instructions in the Factory Service Manual which measures actual suspension height.

yes i did yesterday . the way it was set up we couldnt get the rear camber set right (way to positive) in both the front and the rear. we installed gulstrand heim jointed rear suspension pieces. set the ride height to the specs you sent me and then alligned it to those specs and what a difference feels like she is on rails . but i am not too much of a corner guy . so i hooked up my gtech pro and went to my testing spot for my 1/4mile runs and man she really bites .i can hardly wait for the 2 dfay test and tune @ famoso feb 20-21 as i have a goal to get her into the 11s. but the way it was set up before i couldnt get my 60fts under 2.1 no matter what i did on drag radials even at my street spot . now my 60ft on my street spot they are 1.56-66 .i am at 5000 ft at my test spot and famoso is at 600 ft . my gtech was showing 12.05 -20 @ 114-5. so if things play out as they usually do i could get into the 11.50-70 range @119-20 . we raised the front of the car 1/2 in to 26.75 and lowered the car 1 full in from 28 to 27. the car allways looked like what we used to call a puddle jumper (60-70s term for jacking up the rear with either air shocks or schackle extentions )the car ran a best before of 12.27 @119.47 mph . i will try to have a friend run some more vids when i go . i have some vids of both my zr1s at the strip on utube under the screen name joeshmoe12301230. thanx again i can hardle wait to beat some of my c5 buddies that are running 12.0s man its going to be fun to see the looks on their faces .have a great day
