67' and 07' Verts
Have the chance to buy the following 67' roadster....
327/300 hp, 4 spd. 3:36 rear, power steering, miles-TMU,
Coker red lines w/repro. knockoffs. Car has undergone
body on restoration and engine rebuild with compartment
detailed. #'s match with original tank sticker intact.
Very little in documentation other than car spent last 20 yrs.
in Florida vicinity. Frame very good. Color is Marina Blue with
white/blue combo interior. New carpeting and seat covers
from Al Knoch. Car has been consistent show winner in
63-67 class with a recent "best interior" in a 56 car field.
What's a reasonable market price on this car over the next
3-6 mos.?

After exhaustedly looking, I just paid $42 K for a frame off '66 Mosport green convertible. It has a factory hard top, 350 HP/ 327 CuIn, 4 speed, drive train and all important mechancials match including dates except for carb. It has original interior, 50K miles. Documentation including pictures of frame off and original window sticker came with the car. Wheel covers/ no knockoffs. I looked around quite a while and saw very few unmolested midyears with original drive trains for less than 40K anywhere! I'm sure prices will only be higher next spring baring any unusual financial calamities.

Based on what you're getting I would expect to pay somewhere in the low to mid 40's minimum.

Recent sales

A silver / black, 300hp AIR CONDITIONED, convet, 2 top, Texas car that was a #3 driver but had original motor, vinyl top and soft top, TANK STICKER, but automatic, powerglide trans, sold for $45000.

I know of a white / bright blue 300hp 4 speed in Northern California for $34000. Has some frame welding from a hit years ago and body repair. It is a nice looking 'driver' and does have its original motor.

If the car is
1.- rust free
2.- un damaged body
3.- original driveline
4.- factory paperwork and history,
then expect to pay $38000 to $55000 depending on the above. Hire a $300 expert to go 'look' with you. His unbiased opinion may save you thousands of mispent $$.
