wheel question

like i have said before i have always been a bit of a mental midget when it comes to tire and wheel sizes.... im looking at new wheels for my 82... and i see listed 15x7 and 15x8....... .... im not going to make it out to sound like i am having a mental block here... i dont know what is on my car presently and i dont know what ones i should get!

You should have 15X8 on your car. The ones in your avatar from what I can see look like factory alloy wheels, and they were only available in 15X8.

there are more pics of the car in my albums in profile if it helps... i was always curious if these were factory or aftermarket to be honest.....

the size should be stamped somewhere on the wheel, usually on the back side of the rim.

So are you looking for tires or rims? If you have 'factory' rims, they are 8".
