Question: Wheels

My question on a earlier post must have been to vague, so as not to bump a post I will simplify

Can anybody tell me what manufacturers of wheels make ones that fit good and clear the calipers on late 70's Corvettes...I am finding slim pickings on styles and people that make them. I see lots of Vettes with aftermarket wheels so somebody must be making them.

And if anyone knows, what is a safe negative offset, since the few wheels I am finding have at least -12mm offsets.
