I'm thinking about replacing the lugs and putting either straight or swept fin spinners on my 78'. Does anyone have or know where I can find pictures of what spinners might look like? Any comments are great!

Several vendors (Eckler's comes to mind) sell spinner kits that use a ring to cover the lugnuts and a new press-fit centercap that has the fake spinner wings.

A real spinner setup would be heavy (the GM spinners simply bolted over the lugs, adding quite a bit of unsprung weight to the car). If you don't need the knock-off setup for quick pit stops in racing, then the fake spinners are probably a better bet.

True Spoke makes wire wheel and the true Knock Offs. They have 3 or 4 different style of spinners. Craiger makes wheel center with the spinners as well. I have the straight 3 bar centers on my Centerlines wheels. MidAmercia, Ecklers and Corvette Central all sell the spinner type centers.

I think they look great; add that racey look to any wheel.

Ecklers has some cool swept fin kits, and they also have center emblems; I think they'd look pretty sweet. I think I'll give them a try, thanks!
