Rob, nice write-up to debunk the last Corvette. Of course GM won't give out info to anyone, journalists or otherwise. Last Labor Day at the NCM 19th Anniversary, I asked Harlan Charles about the new automatic transmission (twice) during the seminar on the 2014 Corvette. He politely responded by saying he was talking about the current tranny and never hinted about the new auto transmission in the works. His was the best way to answer a question like that. I know that when I was conducting investigations for the Government, when asked about details, I responded that I could not comment and directed them to my home office - and they would not reply. If you don't say anything, you can't get in trouble. Wonder why the conversation got a far as it did?
