where are all the C1 parts?

Am thinking that the last time I recall seeing a new C1 in the Chevy dealership they all had folding tops (except for the hardtop only cars), all the chrome, gauges, etc. Who is the person that seems to have removed all these parts from the cars over the years? They must have a real stockpile!

Sadly, most C1's were wrecked, burned or modified to oblivion and their original parts scattered/burried deep beneath many landfills, junkyards and cornfields across America, making survivor parts that much more expensive.

Believe it or not, I just scored some parts for my C1 at a local swap meet- It seems that the person selling them used to own a body shop, and was selling parts he had left over from cars he'd restored.. I'd rather have the OEM parts, even if they aren't flawless like the repros that went on the restoration-
